解放軍東部戰區總醫院生殖醫學科主任、主任醫師、伟德官网手机版教授、博士研究生導師。生殖醫學國家重點實驗室研究員。長期從事不孕不育症的臨床治療和科研攻關，圍繞無、少、弱精子症、卵子老化、卵巢儲備功能下降、卵巢早衰、輔助生殖技術對早期胚胎安全性評估、男性性功能障礙等領域進行了多方面臨床和基礎研究。分别是“江蘇省科教興衛工程”和“科教強衛工程”的重點培養人才。“江蘇省333工程”第二層次培養對象。兼任江蘇省醫學會生殖醫學分會主任委員、全軍計劃生育優生優育專業委員會常委等職。曾獲原南京軍區優秀基層标兵稱号并榮立二等功1次，帶領團隊榮獲集體三等功一次。以第一貢獻者獲國家教育部科技進步二等獎和軍隊科技進步二等獎3項次。以共同發明人獲國家專利9項次。目前以第一負責人在研國家重大研究專項、江蘇省重點研發計劃一項，國家自然科學基金，江蘇省自然科學基金，軍隊“十一五”面上課題等。以第一作者或通訊作者在PNAS、GUT、Clinical Chemistry、Aging Cell等國際著名雜志發表SCI論文60餘篇。是《Asian  Journal  Andrology》雜志的編委。第四批“國之名醫-優秀風範”獲得者。
