Zhou Qing, a Chief Physician, earned his Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in Surgery from Nanjing University Medical School in 2004 and 2017, respectively. From 2006 to 2007, he engaged in further training at the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He also served as a visiting scholar at the Children’s Hospital of the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Presently, he serves as the President of Yizheng Hospital, which is a part of the Drum Tower Hospital Group. He is also the Administrative Deputy Director in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School. He was acknowledged as a young medical talent within the Jiangsu Province’s “13th Five-Year” Science, Education, and Health Engineering program. He is a standing committee member of the Cardiovascular Surgery Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association, and the Vice Leader of the Cardio-vascular Hybridization Group. His research interests focus on the clinical and molecular mechanisms of aortic dissection and atrial fibrillation.
