Peipei Xu obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Southeast University, and a joint Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley and Southeast University in 2013. She joined Drum Tower Hospital, Affiliated to Nanjing University in the same year. In 2017, she was appointed as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Nanjing University. Currently, she serves as a Doctoral and Master Supervisor at Nanjing University. She is also a faculty member in the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Nanjing University. Her main research interests include: 1) the development and transformation of living cell diagnosis, and the treatment technologies such as platelets and stem cells; 2) the relapse mechanisms and interventions for malignant hematological diseases; 3) developing new methods for individualized diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases based on the integration artificial intelligence technologies.
