Dongjin Wang obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Norman Bethune University of Medical Science in 1986. In 2011, he received his Doctoral degree from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. He once worked as a visiting scholar at the Children’s Hospital Colorado and University of Washington Medical Center. From 1997 to 2000, he worked at Fuwai Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS). In 2001, he joined the faculty of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, the Affiliated Hospital of Medical School, Nanjing University. In 2005, He was appointed as the Vice President of Nanjing Chest Hospital. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Aortic Diseases Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Clinical Medical Center of Cardiovascular Diseases, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Medical Center of Cardiovascular Diseases, and the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Diseases Research Institute of Nanjing University. He is also the Director of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital.
