Xiaoping Qian obtained her Bachelor’s degree in the Division of Clinical Medicine from the Fourth Medical University in 1987, a Master’s degree from Southern Medical University in 2003, and a Ph.D. from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 2007. From 1987 to 1998, she worked as a resident physician and physician-in-charge at Jinling Hospital. Since 1998, She worked successively as a Physician-in-charge, Associate Chief Physician, and Chief Physician at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital. Throughout her over-30-year career in clinical medicine, she has primarily focused on individualized anti-tumor therapy for colorectal cancer. In 2015, she was appointed as a Doctoral Supervisor at the Medical school of Nanjing University. As the first person in charge, she has undertaken 15 scientific research projects, including the general project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
