Wei Jin obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Nanjing University. He currently holds positions as an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at both Nanjing University and Nanjing Medical University. He is also a youth member of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association, a member of the Neuroendoscopy Group within the Neurosurgery Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association, and a member of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Society of Research Hospitals.
He has been selected as one of the “Six Summit Talents” in Jiangsu Province, a young talent of Jiangsu Province, an outstanding young person in medical science and technology development in Nanjing, and a young talent in health in Nanjing. He has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of the Ministry of Education of Nanjing University. In October 2014, he studied neuroendoscopic techniques under the guidance of Professor Marvin Bergsneider as a visiting scholar in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Reagan Medical Center.
