Xiaoyan Ke received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Nanjing Medical University in 1991 and 2002, respectively. In 2009, she obtained her Ph.D. in Biological Science and Medical Engineering from the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering at Southeast University. She joined the Child Mental Health Research Center of Nanjing Brain Hospital in 1991, and currently serves as its director. She is also the Director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Child Mental Health. From 2011 to 2012, she worked as a senior visiting scholar in the College of Medicine, University of Florida. Her research interests include the identification of biomarkers of MRI brain imaging for autism spectrum disorders. Specifically, her research focuses on the predictive index and its curative effect using the brain imaging of multivariate magnetic resonance in children with autism spectrum disorders, and the development of an early diagnosis and prediction model for children with autism spectrum disorder. In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded “Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Jiangsu Province” in 2016, and was appointed as a Doctoral Supervisor by the Medical School of Nanjing University in 2021.
