Daorong Wang received his master’s and doctoral degree from Nanjing Medical University in 2000 and 2003, respectively. He served as a visiting scholar at Queen Mary Hospital from 2010 to 2011 and at the National Cancer Center Hospital of Japan in 2013. Since 2007, he has been a full professor and chief doctor in Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital affiliated with Nanjing University. He has been recognized as an academic leader of Jiangsu Province key discipline General Surgery and a leading talent of Project 333 in Jiangsu Province. His research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of digestive system, especially the surgery of laparoscopic and robotic surgery for colorectal cancer and gastric cancer.
