Dr. Caihong Zeng is a renal pathologist and professor of nephrology, as well as a Ph.D. supervisor at the National Clinical Research Center for Kidney Diseases at Jinling Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Medical School, Nanjing University. She received her Master of Medicine degree from the Medical School at Nanjing University in 1994, followed by a Ph.D. degree in 2006. After completing her Ph.D., she undertook a renal pathology residency program, followed by a renal pathology fellowship at Jinling Hospital. From 2009 to 2010, she worked as a visiting scholar in the renal pathology divisions of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Zeng has a particular interest in the field of kidney disease, with a focus on renal and kidney transplant pathology, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in renal pathology. She serves as a committee member of Renal Pathology Society Committees.
