Qing Zhang received his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Fudan University in 2002. He then pursued his postdoctoral training in the Department of Developmental Biology at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from 2003 to 2009. He joined the Model Animal Research Center of Nanjing University as a Professor and Principal Investigator in June 2009. His lab’s research focuses on the regulation of the Hedgehog (Hh)/Hippo signaling pathway and mitochondrial/lysosomal functional homeostasis. He has published papers in international prestigious journals, including Developmental Cell, PNAS, Cell Research, and Molecular Cell.
