Dongmei Li received her degree in Clinical Medicine from Nanjing Medical University and her Ph.D. degree in Physiology from Nanjing University in 1997 and 2007, respectively. Since 2007, she has been engaged in teaching and scientific research at the Medical School of Nanjing University. From 2013 to 2014, she worked as a visiting scholar under the guidance of Dr. Kathleen Kelly at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she conducted research on the pathogenesis of urogenital tumors. She is currently a principal investigator at the Immunology and Reproduction Biology Laboratory and the State Key Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for Life Science at the Medical School of Nanjing University. Her research interests include cell metabolism reprogramming and disease occurrence.
